Darker Colors for Fall

I am so excited for fall makeup! It's definitely the most dramatic the transition from season to season for both fashion and makeup. That means mixing textures, incorporating deeper colors, and for me, experimenting with more daring makeup!

I just love how this makeup turned out. I used one color on my eyes. I concentrated it more toward the outer half of my lid and blended it out for a seamless smokey look. Product details below.

Eyes - Bare Minerals READY Eyeshadow 4.0 - The Dream Sequence (Violet Sheen)
Lips - Prestige lip liner (27 Black Plum), Wet N' Wild lipstick (Cherry Bomb)

A Rainbow of Pastels!

I've had loads of compliments on this manicure! I couldn't decide which pastel color I wanted to rock this week and sure enough I found a way to rock them all! The color names are listed below.

** the BP. nail colors I purchased at Nordstrom (2 for $8) and I'm absolutely loving them! They are very opaque apply like a dream. They have such a fun range of colors to choose from! I highly recommend giving them a try!

2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid Eyes

I'm gonna be honest with you. Purple is my favorite color! When creating this look, the only thing I was sure of was that I wanted to use this gorgeous purple eyeshadow from the Bare Minerals READY 4.0 Dream Sequence eyeshadow quad called Boudoir. You may recognize it from a previous blog post, but I wanted to make it the star of the show! It is described as an electric amethyst but the warm purple color almost exactly matches the pantone color of the year -- radiant orchid! I absolutely love how this makeup turned out! Mac "Snob" paired perfectly with the eyes. It's one of those looks where you just feel gorgeous! And who wouldn't want that? Pop of Color: NYX Electroshock

*please excuse my towel dried hair*

This color caught my eye in Ulta -- NYX Electroshock -- and for $2.69 I had to have it. As I've found with the rest of the NYX eyeshadows I have, the quality is impressive! Especially over a white base (here I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk), this color really pops!
